The new Education and Administration Building at First United Methodist Church was designed by Somdal Associates as the first phase of a master plan implementation. The building includes three floors and has space dedicated for various church ministries, all age groups, and the administrative functions of the church.

The project also includes an elevated walkway over a downtown street to connect all of the buildings that make up this sprawling church campus. The completion of the building in April of 2006 allowed the church to consolidate administrative functions that had been housed in four buildings into one central location.
