The central goal of this project was to create a Children's Hospital for the community by renovating space in an existing Medical Center. On the first floor, within the existing Emergency Department, is a Children’s Care Center. A self-contained area with support space specially designed for the expedient care of children suffering from minor emergencies. The center is staffed by physicians trained in pediatrics and pediatric critical care.
