With over 40 years of architectural experience in both Lafayette and Shreveport, Ed Elberson brings deep expertise in healthcare and educational design. His portfolio includes multiple projects for Holy Angels and extensive work with the Schumpert/Highland Medical System.

Ed has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to the profession through leadership roles at the American Institute of Architects (AIA), having served as President of both the Shreveport Chapter and AIA Louisiana. Nationally, he contributed as an officer of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and participated on its Architect Registration Examination Committee.

In addition to his leadership and design credentials, Ed is highly regarded for his expertise in project management and specifications. He served as an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and operated his own architecture firm in Lafayette for a decade before becoming a partner at Somdal Associates.
