The Center for Molecular Imaging and Therapy
Shreveport, Louisiana
The Center for Molecular Imaging and Therapy is a purpose-built, two-story, 23,000-square-foot research facility that includes comprehensive site development with organized parking, pedestrian circulation, and landscaping that support accessibility. This facility was designed to support advanced molecular imaging and therapy research while emphasizing clarity, comfort, and functionality through a clean, modern interior design. The project consists of comprehensive research spaces that accommodate clinical and pre-clinical PET/CT imaging, research laboratories, and radiopharmaceutical manufacturing areas.
The exterior design emphasizes clarity, proportion, and performance, expressed through a perforated metal screen wall system that creates a distinctive façade element. This system provides visual texture and functional screening, tying cohesively into the building’s overall exterior material palette. The subtle material transitions and clean detailing was designed to support the facility’s role as a contemporary research and clinical environment.
